Zaretta is a former writing teacher turned equity freedom fighter and over 19 years ago, Zaretta moved from supporting students in her classroom to supporting teachers who are committed to getting better results with their culturally and linguistically diverse students. Zaretta has trained instructional coaches, designed national seminars for teachers and school leaders and is a regular presenter at national conferences for education.
